What the server keeps about you, why it keeps it, and how to get it removed.
Last updated 2 November 2026
1. Who is responsible
Cruisetto, the private Assetto Corsa server described on this site. The business details and the contact address are on the contact page.
2. What we store
- Your Steam ID64 — the account the whitelist, the wallet and the cars belong to.
- Your game profile — cash and bank balance, level, owned cars, purchased skins, car damage, fuel, mileage, health, jail and recovery timers, crew membership.
- Purchase records — the order id, the package, the amount and currency, the payment status, the Steam ID the order was for, and the IP address the order came from.
- Technical logs — your IP address, connection times, commands you type in game (for example
/reportroad), and server console logs. They exist to run the server and to investigate abuse. - Messages you send us — on Discord, by email or through a payment provider.
3. Why we store it
- to deliver a purchase to the right player and keep the order record;
- to keep your cars, cash and damage between sessions;
- to keep the server stable and stop cheating, fraud and abuse;
- to answer a support or refund request;
- to meet tax and accounting obligations for paid orders.
4. Cookies and local storage
This site has no analytics and no advertising pixels. It remembers one thing, and only when you use the store:
cruisetto.steamid— your Steam ID64, in a first-party cookie (180 days), so the store knows which account to credit while the payment is confirmed. The Ko-fi panel runs in a frame fromko-fi.com, so it cannot read this cookie.
Your receipts — the orders this browser started and the last one it opened —
are kept in this browser's localStorage, not in a cookie and not on a public
page. The reference of an order is the only key that reads it back, and clearing this
browser's data removes the receipts; the purchases themselves stay on your account. The
Forget this browser button on the orders page clears the receipts and the
Steam ID in one step.
They are functional, not tracking: they are never shared with anybody, they are not used to follow you on other sites, and the store still works without it — you just have to type your Steam ID again. The Not you? button clears the Steam ID.
The payment panel on the store page is an embedded Ko-fi page (an
iframe from ko-fi.com). It is only loaded when you open a package,
it is Ko-fi's own content, and it may set its own cookies or use its own fraud checks —
that is covered by Ko-fi's
privacy policy, not this one. We cannot read anything inside the frame; all we receive
back is Ko-fi's confirmation of the payment.
5. Who we share it with
- Ko-fi — to take the payment, to host the payment panel embedded in the store page, and to confirm it. Ko-fi sees the amount and the name and message you type in its panel, and the email address on your Ko-fi account.
- Our hosting provider — the site and the server run on rented infrastructure.
- Authorities — only when the law requires it.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
6. How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. Game profiles are kept while you play; server logs are rotated and old ones are deleted. A deleted profile cannot be restored.
7. Your choices
Write to us to ask for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to delete your profile. Deletion removes your wallet, cars and progress on the server, and it cannot be undone. Records we must keep for a paid order (the payment and the invoice) are kept for the legal period even after the profile is gone.
8. Security
Access to the server, its database and its logs is limited to the people who run Cruisetto. We never receive or store card numbers: the payment form belongs to Ko-fi.
9. Children
The server is meant for players old enough to use Assetto Corsa and Ko-fi under their own account. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep data about them.
10. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions or a deletion request: see the contact page.
